Water tank cleaning step by step guide
Our 8-step procedure is a professional, scientific and hygienic approach, right from the start to the end.
Here’s how each step is performed with utmost care:

Hatch cleaning
During the first step, cleaning focus is on the entrance point of the tank where most of the dirt is deposited and where insects thrive.

Mechanized Dewatering
The second step involves flushing out the water in the tank. To avoid wasting water it is advised that water level is kept low before the start of the session.

Sludge Removal
In this stage, a sludge removal pump is used to thoroughly clear away sludge, mud and sand from the surface of the tank.

High Pressure Water Cleaning
The walls & ceilings of the tanks are thoroughly cleaned using special high pressure cleaners which rid of the walls of calcinations, algae and all contaminants which cling on the internal surface of the tank helping the microbiological contamination to grow.

Vacuum Cleaning
This fifth stage includes the process of a thorough vacuum suction to remove the resultant contaminants, making the tank absolutely speck-free. Residual dirty water is disposed of at a safe place for hygiene reasons.

Sterilization
A non-toxic, anti-bacterial spray is used in this stage to completely eliminate a wide range of microorganisms,

Radiation
In the seventh stage, a UV radiation treatment is performed to ensure the bacteria present in the air are destroyed and the tank is 100% bacteria free.

Surface Cleaning
Attention is given to the exteriors and surrounding areas (5 meter radius) of the tank.
